GVSC Communications SA (Pty) Ltd is a privately operated company formed in February 2005 with the object to market and distributes broadband wireless internet products and VoIP (voice over the internet) telephony products and services.

GVSC Communications SA (Pty) Ltd is currently deploying a VoIP (Voice over the internet) platform together with comprehensive billing engines to offer local and international calls of Telco quality at substantially reduced rates to that of Telkom.

The technology being used is proven technology which has been operating in the United States, Israel, Australia and Europe for a number of years. GVSC Communications SA (Pty) Ltd is the importer and sole distributor of Leadtek VoIP telephone sets and Video phones in South Africa, which can be used for home and office either connected to a Telkom ADSL line or with a Sentech or WBS wireless modem.

Our key focus is aimed at targeting corporate as well as small to medium businesses. GVSC Communications SA (Pty) Ltd also recognises the significant advantages of our products being used by Home Owners, thus forming part of our secondary focus target audience.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

• To take an early advantage of the world wide move to IP telephony and apply the trends in the Republic of South Africa (and other geographical areas in Africa and abroad) to the respective telecoms market.
• To take advantage of the new legislation in South Africa and be an early entrant into the VoIP market,
• To take advantage of the apparent one dimensional approach to the market by current VoIP service providers in SA,
• To take advantage of the cost effectiveness and technical innovation of Leadtek so as to secure a sound footing in the SA market,
• To offer value added products and/or applications through differentiated products in the SA market.
